A Story of Resilience, Leadership, and Impact in Nursing Education

We are proud to highlight Ms. Angie Garza, Director of Pinnacle Career Center, who was recently featured in Voyage San Antonio.

Angie’s journey into healthcare began as a Certified Nursing Assistant while balancing immense personal responsibilities, including raising her own child and caring for her sister’s six children. Despite these challenges, she pursued her education with determination, eventually earning her RN, BSN, and a Master’s degree in Nursing Education.

With over 15 years of experience in nursing education and leadership, Angie has served as a Dean, program developer, and mentor to countless students. She has successfully built nursing programs from the ground up—even during the challenges of the COVID-19 pandemic—securing approvals and helping shape the next generation of healthcare professionals.

Today, as the Director of Pinnacle Career Center, she continues her mission of empowering students through accessible, high-quality training programs. Her dedication, resilience, and passion for teaching make her a true leader in the field.
